Great Lakes Campus Comstock Construction and Northwestern Michigan College partnered in 2003 to construct a building which offers 4 specific educational opportunities and provides a gateway to Northern Michigan and NMC. The 75,233 square foot, $14 million dollar, NMC Great Lakes Campus building was built on the shore of West Grand Traverse Bay and houses programs such as, Great Lakes Culinary Institute, Great Lakes Professional Development Center, Great Lakes Water Studies Institute, and the Great Lakes Maritime Academy. The result is an educational facility that NMC, Comstock Construction, and Northern Michigan can be proud of for years to come.
