Whether performing as Design Build, Construction Management, or General Construction, Comstock Construction is prepared to provide value engineering and constructability analysis to our clients. We review alternate construction methods and their impact on project quality, budget, and schedule. Comstock’s “Grass Roots” approach provides our clients the utmost quality with Northern Michigan affordability.
Design Build
A comprehensive process providing single point responsibility for both design and construction. The contractor provides full project management from design through building occupancy, often referred to as turn-key construction.
Construction Management
A process where the contractor provides owner advocacy throughout the construction process. Agency Construction Management provides for individual contract relationships between the owner and each trade contractor. Modified Construction Management provides for a single contract relationship between the owner and the construction manager. The construction manager contracts with each trade under the Modified Construction Management scenario.
General Construction
A more traditional process providing for separate design and construction entities. The contractor is the single source for all construction responsibilities and contracts directly with all the trade contractors. |
