The original Traverse City Opera House was constructed in 1890. Time had taken its' toll and much of the structure showed signs of deterioration. In 2006 Comstock Construction partnered with the City Opera House Restoration Group on restoration of the building. A new three story oak grand stair was constructed to greet visitors upon their entrance. A new oriel window was fabricated and installed to match the one that had been removed from the original structure. The restored Opera House now provides a comfortable venue for numerous community activities.
